A Not So Lazy Sunday

By Estella in training with no comments

Today was one of those really hot sunny days where I wish I could’ve been outside all day – playing, working out, driving – but couldn’t fully enjoy it because of work. I had a lot of work I needed to catch up on so stayed in most of the day to do it while my friends were all out on the beach.

Today’s movement:
pruning trees in the yard
5km rollerblade
1hr of beach volleyball

With freelance work, sacrifices often need to be made. Sometimes too many, and it has made me a real workaholic over the years!  Today it just kind of hit me and got me thinking…I need to cut down on my ‘extra work’ so there’s more FREE time to enjoy the simple things in life like reconnecting with old friends (you know who you are!), time with family, working out, shopping, enjoying the sun, etc. After finishing my work, I began drafting out a plan of action. It’ll take some time to set up and create but I think it’ll be a fun, interesting venture as it’ll combine both my passion for design and fitness. Stay tuned for it in future posts!

About Stronger than Unbroken

Stronger than Unbroken is a personal blog I started to show that true strength comes from within. It is both a physical and mental battle. Strength comes from every obstacle and personal goal I have had to overcome. With each experience, comes confidence and the drive to become better and stronger than when I first started.
