KB Workout of the day
Kettlebell workout of the day. Building functional strength and working the entire body with a series of compound movements involving single and double kettlebell swings, windmills, overhead squats, presses, and rows, topped off with a set of weighted pistols.
This was filmed exactly one year after I fractured my collarbone in a cycling accident. Serving as a reminder that setbacks create challenges to be overcome and opportunities to become better.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen you on video — and to say that I’m impressed would be an understatement. Although the various still photos of you in training that I’ve seen are impressive, they do not do justice to your great ability, skill, and strength in training with and handling kettlebells. Famous strength-training and weighlifting authority Brooks Kubik talks of “Mastering the weight”; and it is patently apparent from this video that you have done so. I am particularly impressed, or more accurately astonished, by your ability to perform Pistols while holding 26 pounds of added weight; it is patently obvious that you must possess incredible squatting strength. To this I can only add that you are one amazing and inspiring individual. Thank you so much for posting this video and giving us the privilege of seeing you in action.
Rick, thanks so much for your kind and motivating words. You’ve followed me on my Clavicle Adventures and given some really good advice along the way. I appreciate it. I just think it’s such an amazing feeling to be fully rehabilitated and able to do anything and everything again. That’s part of the reason why I wanted to do this video – as a personal reminder of how taking a proactive role in a situation will give you the desired outcome. With that said, I’m going to be very careful from now on and not break anymore bones
Damn, you’re gooood! I think it’s so hot when a girl can workout and move the way you do with the kettlebells. Great video and you’re an amazing inspiration! Keep ‘em coming.
